We thought that yesterday was hot but Friday 6th August saw us on the trip down to Pissouri with the airconditioning going flat out in the car all the way down the motorway for 2 hours.
Arriving at 3pm and setting up all of the gear and then plunging into the pool was absolutely fantasic relief from the heat. A most beautifulsetting overlooking the bay of Pissouri from high on the mountain is breathtaking to say the least and at least there was a breeze p there.
Over 70 people turned up to enjoy the great buffet meal and from the first to the last songs after the meal the dancefloor was packed.
Many thanks to everyone who came and enjoyed themselves and a big hand for George, Lisa, Nicos, Achilles and Pacco who were run off their feet all night.

Nissi Beach Hotel
The holiday season is in full swing now plus a wedding party celebrating their day on the beautiful Bacchus Terrace Bar which was absolutely full again.
A great night and big thanks to all of the staff who kept me topped up with coffee and water all night as it was possibly the hottest night of the year and almost 100% humidity.
Three shirts and two pairs of trousers in three hours all of them soaked as I cannot sit still and have o be jumping around.
One day i will learn to slow down!!

Bill and Sheila's Wedding
The Golden Coast Hotel in Pernera was the setting for this wedding just to prove that love can bloom late in life, they have been together for 20 years, Bill is 74 and Sheila is "over 21".
Surrounded by family and friends from the UK and Cyprus there was a good mixture of people there to help them celebrate.
Whilst having a pre drink at the bar Lynn and I bumped into a guy that I used to play rugby with 30 years ago, Steve Hirst and his family, who were out on holiday for a friends wedding at the weekend.
Thank goodness that the reception was inside in the air conditioned function suite.

Another sweltering nigh of entertainment on the Patio Bar with a good mixture of people enjoying the heat in the Cyprus evening with the starts out and a bright moonlit night.
All of the staff were rushing around and in top form keeping all of the customers happy until just before 23.00. Another good night in this lovely venue.

Silver Wedding at Woody's Inn Protaras
What an absolute fabulous night in Protaras for Val and Gary's Silver Wedding Anniversary surrounded by family and friends made for a night of real fun from the word go.
Woody's Inn was really rocking with the dancers up from the first few songs and although it was very hot and humid they kept coming back for more.
A special visit from a big Elvis fan "Joe" saw us dancing to a couple of numbers by the King. I think his sister drinks far too much so every time she left her seat I drank her drink hic!
Well done to Anne Marie, Andy and Siobhan who kept the food and the drink flowing all night

Nissi Beach Hotel Ayia Napa
A wonderful night with a mixture of British, Russian and German guests in the beautiful setting of the Terrace Bar.
A nice mixture of music with romance and country as a bit of a theme running through the evening.
Once again the staff did a great job looking after the requirements of the guests and in bringing me water and coffee on what was a very humid but highly enjoyable night.

Aldiana Hotel Alaminos
What a great night at the Aldiana Hotel in Alaminos.
Thank you to the 600 guests who enjoyed the show by the pool bar, a wonderful setting under the bright moon using the Hotel's first class sound system a generous welcome from all and a thoroughly enjoyable show to do on my part. I was still on a high 2 hours later
Although the humidity was high what more could any performer want from a venue, beautiful surroundings, top class facilities and staff, outside under the Cyprus Stars with music for everyone, beer and wine flowing freely and a wonderful audience.
Back down to earth with a BUMP on Tuesday morning dropping Lynn off at the Airport for her week long trip back to the UK and back home to the dog and the cat.

A Night at The Nisi Beach Hotel Ayia Napa
Had an absolutely fabulous night at the Nisi Beach Hotel in Ayia Napa. It is great to see an Hotel full and such a great setting on the Terrace Bar.
It was very humid but everyone had a great time and all of the staff were in great form and, as always, it was great to work with them.
Couldn't resist the lure of the Delicious Kebab Shop in Protaras so had to have a large beef kebab with chilli sauce just to end the evening on a high.

A Day at the Beach
Spent the morning down at the Beach in Kapparis. Crystal clear waters and lazing about in the heat was a real struggle.
Went up to the Corner Pin for a swift half to cool down and got out of there at about 6 o'clock but a lot of fun was had by all.
Home a pizza and then an early night for a change as going to spend most of tomorrow getting new website set up.

World Cup Final
Well a night off from singing as most places are showing the final. Went down to Protaras with Lynn and had a good drink in Rives Pub with Marios and Andreas and watched the Final. Well done Spain!!
Far too much to drink but hey hey what the heck we had a great time.
Looking forward to a busy week with plenty of time for sunbathing and swimming, someone has to do it so it might as well be us!!
